Key elements of the celebration include eating hutspot and herring on white bread.
Over het Leidse Ontzet: Op 3 oktober herdenkt het Leids Ontzet het opheffen van het beleg in 1574, een cruciale gebeurtenis in de geschiedenis van de stad.
Deze historische gebeurtenis heeft een diepe culturele betekenis voor de inwoners van Leiden, die dit jaarlijks vieren met festiviteiten en traditionele herdenkingen.
